If you are looking to enroll your swimmers in a winter program. Bearsharktopus Aquatics is a technique based competitive swim program that is dedicated to the education and support self invested youth swimmers.  The Bearsharktopus Aquatics Swim Club (LLC) is a coach owned year-round, competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities located at Fit Club South & West serving Springfield, IL and surrounding communities. And now in a second location at Fusion Fitness & Aquatics Center serving Hillsboro, IL. and surrounding areas. This swim club is committed to developing prepared and focused athletes that excel, both in and out of the pool. Providing an atmosphere that inspires swimmers to achieve their maximum potential through a strong work ethic, discipline, self motivation and self esteem. BASC believes in extending help and growth to all aquatics programs in the local area through support of advanced swim lesson programs and synergy in local aquatic programs.

BASC also offers a pre-competitive training program aimed at 4 to 6 year old swimmers. This program for children interested in becoming competitive swimmers. There is no requirement that these children are able to swim a certain distance, only that they have experience in basic swimming lessons and basic knowledge of freestyle and backstroke. The program is designed for beginning swimmers to achieve skills in all four strokes, diving, basic practice etiquette, and much more. We use many training apparatuses to allow swimmers to train beyond their abilities. This gives young swimmers an advantage in gaining advanced knowledge, technique, the ability to swim longer distances, and a base of skills above average youth swimmers. At BASC we take pride in youth swimming and work hard to provide the best in advanced training for future competitive youth swimmers.
